Martha Whitney Butler, AIFD is an award-winning floral
designer and the owner of The French Potager in Old
Town Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. Deemed one of the
top floral designers in the state, she specializes in
botanical couture, bespoke wedding florals, and floral
education. Referencing her background in antiquities,
Art History, and museum studies, she pulls most of her
inspiration from nature and historic European designs.
She was featured as MSU Coastal Extension’s
“Inspiring Designer 2023”, a Main Stage Presenter at
AIFD Southern Chapter’s regional meeting, and she
delivers demonstrations, presentations, and classes on
floral design throughout the South.
