A floral design workshop with Martha Whitney Butler, AIFD from the French Potager and tea tasting with Jeanne Baxter of New Orleans Tea Company.
Martha will lead the floral design with meditative focus on the elements and principles of design where participants are encouraged to pause, breathe, and invite the joy of designing with flowers into their everyday lives by creating Ikebana-inspired designs.
Jeanne will share tea meditation, a form of moving meditation where you’ll brew a cup of tea mindfully to reveal how it can help to quiet the thoughts of your mind and become fully present in the here and now.
“A beautiful container can inspire you to flower your home on a regular basis, not just on special occasions,” says Martha Whitney Butler, who owns the The French Potager in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.
